A Team That Speaks Both Languages
Most electricians know wiring. Most automation specialists know control systems. Rarely do you find both in the same team, on the same project, from day one.
Essentia’s electrical engineers are trained in both regular electrical work and control/automation, and that combination changes how a project is built. An electrician who understands automation doesn’t just pull cable to a switch, they think about what that circuit might need to do in five years: a scene trigger, a usage alert, a remote command. A regular electrical team wouldn’t plan for that. Ours does, by default.
That thinking starts long before installation, on paper. Every project begins with detailed electrical design and drawings, coordinated with architects and interior designers before a single cable is pulled. It’s far cheaper, and far less disruptive, to solve a conflict in a drawing than to solve it on site.
Two Ways to Wire a Property
Every project at Essentia starts with a choice: normal electrical work, or smart electrical work. Both are engineered to the same high standard. The difference is what the system can tell you.
Normal electrical work is exactly what it sounds like: properly designed circuits, distribution boards, and wiring, built to last and built safely. For a lot of spaces, that's exactly what's needed.
Smart electrical work goes further. Every breaker and every line can report back: what's using power, how much, and if something's wrong, a fault notification tells you not just that there's a problem, but what the problem is and where. Instead of finding out about a tripped breaker when the lights go out, you get a notification on your phone before it becomes an inconvenience, sometimes before it becomes a real fault at all. You also get remote control: switch a circuit on or off from anywhere, without needing to touch the panel.
We build this on wired or wireless technology depending on the project, wired where reliability matters most, wireless where flexibility matters more. Either way, the intelligence lives at the breaker level, not bolted on afterward.

Essential, Not Luxury
Somewhere along the way, smart electrical systems got filed under “nice to have,” next to home theatres and wine fridges. We think that’s the wrong category.
Electrical faults aren’t rare. In the US alone, fire-safety data puts home electrical fires at around 51,000 a year, with arcing faults responsible for more than 28,000 of them. Most of those start quietly: a loose connection, an overloaded circuit, a fault that goes unnoticed until it’s a real problem. A smart electrical system is built to catch exactly that, early, before it becomes dangerous.
That’s not luxury. That’s basic safety and control for how people actually live today, plugged in, powered up, and depending on electricity for almost everything in the building.
