About Josh.ai
Josh.ai was founded in March 2015 in Denver, Colorado, by Tim Gill, the founder of Quark, and Alex Capecelatro. It builds voice control for professionally installed smart homes.
In November 2020 it launched Josh Core and Josh Nano, described by the company as the world’s first architectural microphone: a four-microphone array only 0.1 inch thin, with a privacy switch.
