Essentia is Vimar’s home automation partner in Bahrain. We supply, program and support Vimar systems, designer switch ranges and Elvox video door entry, so our clients get Italian design with local engineering behind it.
About Vimar
Vimar was founded on 1 May 1945 in Marostica, in the north-east of Italy, by Walter Viaro and Francesco Gusi, and it still designs and builds there today.
Over eight decades the company has produced some of Italy’s best-known wiring device series: Plana, Eikon, Arké, Neve Up and Linea. Linea received an Honourable Mention at the Compasso d’Oro in 2024, and Italy has recognised Vimar as a Historic Brand of National Interest.
In 2012 Vimar acquired Elvox, adding video door entry and CCTV to its home automation platforms By-me and View.
